Rotary Changes Lives

John Crisafulli is a Paul Harris Fellow, a long-time member and past President of the Fanwood Scotch Plains Rotary Club - where he served in that capacity for 2 years - and is a board member with the Union Rotary Club.

John was born in Quakertown, PA, but at the age of three, he moved to Cedar Grove, N.J. He spent two years at Kean University, where he studied accounting and business management, then entered the world of community banking. He's worked in banking ever since, starting as a bank teller in Orange, then moving to Hillside, Plainfield, South Orange, Summit, Morristown, Edison, Union, Cranford and Fanwood. He is currently VP/Senior Business Development Officer at First Commerce Bank in Lakewood, NJ.

Crisafulli said he joined Rotary for the same reasons he continues to work for local banks: the sense of community. "It's a service organization. It focuses on leadership in the community. We work with groups in the community that need funding and assistance, and we work on international efforts, too," he said.
