On Friday August 28th, members of the Rotary Club of Englewood joined with members from the Women's Rights Information Center, the Woman's Club of Englewood, Englewood Historical Society, the National Council of Jewish Women BCS and the League of Women Voters to celebrate 100 years of women's hard fought right to vote! The group gathered in front of the library where they were greeted by Rotarian Mayor Michael Wildes, followed by words from Rotarian Charlotte Bennett Schoen, the force behind this celebration. The attendees then "made some noise" to parallel the whistles and bells that rang across the Country in celebration 100 years ago.
